 Itchen South Scout District covers the Eastern Side of Southampton City Council and the Southern part of Eastleigh Borough Council. The District consists of nine Scout Groups including three Sea Scout Groups which are Royal Navy recognised. To add to our list we have four Explorer Scout Units. Within the District we have our own Scout Campsite "Cricket Campsite" and a purpose built indoor accommodation named “Pauline’s Lodge.”

 Mum,
We are having a great time! There is so much to do, climbing, abseiling, caving, archery, rifiles. I had a new kayak. We've been to Southampton, Portsmouth and the New Forest. Do I have to come home?

 This trip will take place in the Lake District National Park; over the long weekend of Thursday 30 October to Sunday 2 November 2008. The accommodation is Ennerdale Scout Centre, Ennerdale Bridge. The weekend will offer walking and climbing opportunities for all abilities and is open to all Explorer Scouts, Scout Network and ISMT/ISST members.
